When Among Crows is a novella following three tortured souls and coming to terms with their family trauma. Roth blends Polish folklore and mythology along with a religious cult meant to rid the world of these “monsters”. The combination of sinister undertones in Roth’s own writing style and the gloomy atmosphere of Chicago, paints a background for the high stakes situation that could save the lives of our protagonists, two of whom are connected in the most interesting ways.
The sequel, To Clutch a Razor, is coming out September 16th, 2025.
